EU Projects

EcoWell Connect integrates outdoor fitness, wellness, and ecological education to engage youth and the local community in nature conservation and green infrastructure enhancement. Through partnerships with schools and protected area authorities in Zakynthos, the project promotes biodiversity awareness, physical activity, and habitat connectivity via guided hikes, trail maintenance, invasive species removal, and citizen science. The initiative aims to restore ecological corridors within Natura 2000 areas and foster sustainable nature-based recreation.

"Together for Nature" – small steps, deep connection

This event aims to foster a deeper connection between individuals and the natural environment of Zakynthos.  By engaging in mindful movement and open dialogue, participants will explore the significance of protected areas and the collective responsibility in preserving them.  The event aligns with the European Day of Parks 2025 theme, "Together for Nature," emphasizing the importance of partnerships in sustaining healthy ecosystems.
